I Spoleczne Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace im Unii Europejskiej w Zamosciu

I Społeczne Liceum im. Unii Europejskiej is an independent school (the governing body is a citizens' association) of a high school type which offers general type education in coeducational classes to students in the 16-18 age group. The school is located in the town of Zamosc (population c.65000) in the predominantly rural area lying along the eastern border of the country. The town and the surrounding area are characterized by low levels of economic activity and low personal income per capita. Limited career opportunities in the area make most school leavers seek further education and jobs in distant cities or abroad. That is why students see their educational success as a ticket to achieving a high social and professional status in the future. 
To meet young people's expectations our school offers a wide variety of educational activities including an opportunity to participate in foreign cooperation programs. These include Erasmus+ partnerships as well as a bilateral exchange link with a school in Germany.
